Intern 101 will inform members how to establish an internship and cover best practices of setting up, managing and advertising internships. Kate Lee, director of talent engagement for the South Bend Regional Chamber, and Lezlie Ontiveros and Lex Dennis of enFocus, will discuss the pros and cons of implementing an internship program and answer some of your basic questions: Will I have to pay them? What are current regulations concerning unpaid internships? Why hire interns? What are the benefits for students, business, and community?
